Little things during our Break!

Alhamdulillaah we had a good 2 weeks break and now back to business again! We did not go out that much as I was so lazy to get out of bed lol! Winter is making me just cover and sleep. Any way during this break I noticed a small behavioural change in Maimoonah. She was kind of not really listening and being playful from dawn till night lol! I guess a growing phase, it was so difficult for her to do one thing without being what shall I say may be too playful which actually annoys. And she also showed some frustration I think I know why but still it was unusual for her to be like this.

Any way after much dua she is much better now and almost normal Innalhamdalillaah! Please do make Ruqya for Sihr, sisters for yourselves and your kids especially bloggers Insha Allaah. Its a reminder for myself first and for my sisters.

So here are some things she did during the break!

I have missed SO MUCH, haven't I? I see I will be spending a lot of time on your blog to catch up! Breaks are good - I hope you are all reinvigorated! We are starting a new year (school term in SG start in January) so I am looking forward to your posts!

Asalamu alaikum ukti,

Its nice to have a break...more so for us mummies than the kids! lol

JazakAllah khayr for the reminder about dua'a and Ruqayah - funny you mention it because this has been on my mind recently!

Alhamdulillah you can recognise when your little one is not quite herself and quickly try to remedy it. May Allah keep Maimoonah guided.

Its unfortunate many parents will leave any change in their children until its too late...or they don't even notice!

Allahu Musta'an. JazakAllah khayr for sharing and reminding us all sis.

Asalaamu alaikum x

assalamu alaikum,

Lovely pictures mashaAllah. It seems it is still warm there.

My kids are always playful from morning till bedtime :) they love to play together and alhamdulillah I feel better because they can have a good time even while I do my own work. But whenever it is time to study, they don't refuse alhamdulillah, And they don't listen to us all the time. We need to ask them a few times to do something (cleaning up, picking up their stuff, washing, eating etc). For us this is normal child behavior.

MashaAllah Maimoonah listens and behaves well,as you said we should always make duaa for our kids, ourselves and each other.

Alaikum salaam warahmathullaah Ya Akhawaat,

JAzzakumullaah Khayr for your comments and concerns. As for Maimoonah she is better now masha Allaah and back to normal. I think we too had a stressful week due to other issues and she did not get the attentions she gets from her father. And I have noticed this before too. If he does not give her attention this is how she behaves, Allaahu A'lam.

Umm Suhailah, why not take a small break Insha Allaah after you assess your kids : )And come back fresh!!!

Imaan, yes we missed you a lot too!
Awaiting to see your new year activities Insha Allaah! Please do share a post especially what you do with the younger one, along with the living books you use and the activities you follow up Insha Allaah!

Umm Khadeejah, yes Alhamdulillaah we are able to keep a close watch and it is so important. Ruqya is essential ukhtee and the power of it is great bi idhnillaah, please do pretty often as the Ain is true Subhanallaah!

Umm Sara, yes not listening is something usual, but her behaviour was pretty much a bit violent too , so that was what worried me. But it all ended one fine day when the father gave her some extra attention after being a bit firm with her, after much dua. Yes I agree being playful is a nice thing for kids, it makes them happy more than us : ) and with two there I can imagine the scene!!! Jazzakillaah Khayr for sharing this and reminding us that children are playful!!!: )
