As'salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh!

Alhamdulillah!!!! I am a big fan of Talibdeen Jr. and LOVE how you created your curriculum. I have a 2 year old and nine month old and insha'Allah, I'd like to homeschool. My question is, do you do this curriculum every year? How do you break your day out? I'm afraid of messing up and welcome your guidance. Insha'Allah I see you have been blogging for a while, but insha'Allah you'll have time to comment back.

Alaikum salaam warahmathullaahi wa barakaathuhu

I have done curriculums for Preschool and Kindergarten, after which I started using the Cambridge Primary curriculum which is for Ages 5 -11.

Our schedules and routines are made according to our household and age. When she was in preschool level we try to finish up a weeks work within that week, according to moods and interest each day. I did not have a set timetable that age, as she was small and thats the age they need lot of learning through play. So one day we did only Maths, another day we did only Language and son on.

Kindergarten level schedules were a bit different, we did a little bit more Qur'aan every day, we did Arabic and Reading every day and so on

Now that she is grown and there is a variety of subjects to explore our schedules are different a bit more structures but flexible. As you start homeschooling you will eventually identify what would suite you and Inshaa Allaah from there things will be smooth.

Hope this helps, May Allaah make it easy for you and welcome to the wonderful world of homeschooling and learning!
